Scandic Linköping City is centrally located in Linköping, right by the river and just a stone's throw from the train station. The hotel is modern and pleasant, featuring a renowned restaurant that is considered one of Östergötland's best according to the White Guide.

We are now looking for a Shift Leader for Restaurant Scandic Linköping City.

What does the role of Shift Leader entail?

As someone working in our restaurant, you are the first guest meets in our restaurant, so it is of great importance that you have a warm demeanor and are attentive to details and the guest's needs. You have a burning interest in food and drink and enjoy order and tidiness, both in your own work and that of your colleagues. All to provide our guests with a fantastic dining experience. Your main tasks will be to serve food and drinks and to be responsible for your own cash register. You will also support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.

In the role of Shift Leader, you are responsible for the hosting for the entire hotel, both towards guests and employees. In addition to being part of the operations, you have an overall overview of the guest flow in the restaurant and work with the team to prioritize tasks so that the operations run smoothly and guests are satisfied. You lead and delegate work and manage staffing during your shift. If needed, you will have the opportunity to train new employees at the hotel and you will also relieve the Restaurant Manager of certain administrative tasks.

Who are you?

To fit into the role, we believe you have at least two years of experience in similar work and experience in concept-driven operations. You have both the ability and the desire to work with operational leadership. You are confident in your leadership and possess both integrity and a sales drive. However, your personal qualities and attitude are the most important. To fit into the role, you need to be a good team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall results. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests.

Information about the position:

The position is a permanent full-time employment. The work is scheduled for weekdays and weekends, both day and evening.
